The ability for aluminium to be light and to resist rust corrosion has seen it used in a large volume of household goods and products, as well as extensively used in the Aerospace industry.
Aluminium is 100% recyclable without losing any of its core qualities and uses only 5% of the energy that is used to produce aluminium from ore. Due to the volume of this metal in our everyday life and ability to be recycled, it is one of the higher demand metals worldwide.

What is the price of Aluminium Scrap Metal?
The price of Aluminium depends on how pure the aluminium is. Pure aluminium will fetch a much higher price than an aluminium/iron mix (known as irony).
Because most recycled metals are exported to places like China, the price per KG will typically fluctuate with the exchange rate and level of demand.
